Kugti

Not far from the kugti pass (5040 m) on the challenging trail to Lahaul from Bharmour, this happens to be the last inhabited village in the picturesque valley. Overlooking deep conifer forest rest house. The famous Keylong Wazir temple is just 2 kilometers away.

It has also a wildlife sanctuary where brown bear is found. Kugti Pass is very popular among the foreign trekkers. A solitary rest house offers a spectacular view of the coniferous forests and one can also visit the famous temple of Keylong Wazir. 

Attractions :

Kugti Wildlife Sanctuary  : This small sanctuary lies in the catchment of the Ravi River, and contains patches of good coniferous and Oak forests. A lovely bowl-shaped meadow at Khajjiar, with a lake and a floating island, is a popular tourist spot.
