Other Important Shrines

Other Important shrines are the Shiva and Gayatri Devi temples of Jagat Sukh, the ancient capital of Lord Rama and the sage Vashisht of Village Vashisht where visitors can drink the spring water or bathe in the hot sulpher spring water that has been piped into shower fitted baths for convenient use. The Arjun Gufa or cave where Arjun is said to have meditated is located near the village of Prini and provides an excellent view of the area. Tourists can also enjoy the eco-walks which have been developed at Van Vihar.
